Yun Jung Taekwondo would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members and the families for their ongoing support of our club.
How fast the year is passing! We hope that everyone will manage their busy schedule for the rest of year without too much hassle.
The 2008 Australian Open and National Championships was a great success, with all Yun Jung competitors returning home with medals. Michael, Kevin, Quan, Nada and Sung Bin, as part of the Victorian Team, performed impressively by snatching the National titles last month in Sydney. With over 2000 senior and junior competitors worldwide, this tournament became the biggest ever in the Taekwondo Australia’s history. We appreciate the massively generous contribution from all those who helped to raise funds for our kids to compete.
The time of the Poomsae Junior Club Competition is quickly nearing. For a bit of an interesting change, students also have the option of competing with a partner, or as part of a team, as well as the choice of performing with their favourite music! Although these changes are being introduced for added fun, students are still expected to try their hardest.
